A Sherbrooke Innopole article featured our ambitions to conquer the world thanks to our disinfectant technology. We developed a thymol-based formula, aptly named Thymox, that is currently being distributed across North America and Colombia. Our natural disinfectant cleaner has been approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Health Canada, the United States’ Environmental Protection Agency, also known as the EPA, and the INVIMA (Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos) in Colombia. Our Thymox disinfectant is also Ecologo approved; an environmental certification program known worldwide. (more…)

As part of the Sustainable Green Chemistry Symposium which was held in Anjou, Quebec on November 16, the CQVB handed the first ever 2011 Green Chemistry Innovation award, to Laboratoire M2 of Sherbrooke.
The innovative technology platform developed by Laboratoire M2 has created a range of natural disinfection products. To date, six products are marketed and 8 are being developed. The continuous R & D efforts enable the firm to form a significant competitive advantage on the “cleaning” market thanks to a variety of green natural products.
“Laboratoire M2 is honored to receive the 2011 Green Chemistry Innovation Award given by the CQVB. This award recognizes the efforts we have made since 2003, to develop disinfectants products that fall within the concept of sustainable development that is globally recognized” says Serge Auray, president of Laboratoire M2.
Seven innovative projects were submitted to the new Green Chemistry Innovation Award, highlighting disinfection products, green solvents, industrial cleaners, grout and mortar systems, industrials films, resins and therapeutic peptides. (more…)
